Apologies to all for not updating the website for a while but I’ve had a bit of illness over the last few weeks which has kept me from doing anything.  The good news is that I’m on the mend and hopefully back to some kind of normality.

So, what has been happening in CFVM land? Clive has published our new CFVM 2016-17 Programme and it looks like it going to be another fun year. We have a nice mix of talks, competitions and practical sessions so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

We have run two evening of our Introduction to filmmaking Course which has been a great success with a good mix of members and non member attending. We have just had a run through for our final evening session which is on editing, titles, export formats and copyright and all is fine.

We are currently in pre production for our next club film. This will be our Albany entry for next year’s competition, so I’m not going to say much apart from we have a great story, it is something totally new and a challenge, and that it is outside our comfort zone. We have a few locations to scout and characters to cast and then we can move in to principal photography.
